What is Summer Jobs Service
The Summer Jobs Service Program is a provincially funded program that assists both students and employers.
- To the student, we offer assistance with job search strategies
- To the employer, we offer assistance in satisfying summer recruitment needs

How do we achieve these goals?
We offer workshops, one-on-one sessions and access to various job search aids. We also offer a wage subsidy to employers to off-set the cost of hiring summer help. The SJS Coordinator will post job vacancies for employers, collect and forward resumes and follow up with employers and employees. In addition, we offer WSIB coverage during the subsidized period to minimize the risks and maximize results.
How can I get more information and sign up?
You can phone, email, or visit our Community Employment Resource Centre between the hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or contact the Summer Jobs Service Coordinator listed below.
