Job Connect works in partnership with the Apprenticeship Board of Ontario for those interested in pursuing a career in the trades.
For Job Seekers:
- We offer monthly Apprenticeship Information Sessions (with local trades employers, past job connect participants speaking about their experiences)
- One-on-one consultations with a local Apprenticeship Consultant every second Tuesday of the month
- For those qualified for JDPS Services we can arrange a training placement towards apprenticeship with a local employer.

For Employers:
- We offer training incentives to those local employers who are willing to hire and train our local youth towards apprenticeship opportunities
- Offer opportunities for local employers to be guest speakers at our information sessions to inform job seekers of the benefits of in the trades
